Being a mom has been the best thing I have ever done in my life. And being a mom to this little guy...well, let's just say I can't belive how lucky we are. He is perfect, happy, giggly and sweet.
I haven't written on here in quite some time but I decided I better get back down to business documenting some of these special times because I don't want to ever forget them. For instance, last night was one of those moments. Grayson was so tired that as soon as I sat down in his rocking chair he laid his head down on my shoulder and closed his eyes. This is where the sweetest moment a mom could imagine happened. As he laid on my shoulder falling asleep he found comfort in running his sweet little fingers through my hair. This little boy was made perfect for me. Thank you God for such an amazing Gift of having him in our lives. I look forward to the many sweet moments to come.
This week I am heading to TX for work. It is going to be a challenge because I have never been away from him for this long. I leave tonight and I get back Friday night so a total of 3 days. I can't wait until Friday night when I can scoop him up with kisses and hugs again.
